In 2026, the Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) has modernized its systems, making it possible for both employers and employees to manage registrations and verify records entirely online using a CNIC.

As of March 2, 2026, the minimum pension has been officially raised to Rs. 11,500, and a landmark legal ruling now counts 14.5 years of service as a full 15-year term for pension eligibility.

How to Check EOBI Status Online (2026)

You can verify your registration and contribution history without visiting an office by following these steps:

1. Visit the Portal: Go to the EOBI Facilitation System.
2. Select Tracking: Click on the “Insured Person Tracking” or “Individual Information” tab.
3. Enter CNIC: Type your 13-digit CNIC number (without any dashes or spaces).
4. View Results: The system will display your:
   • EOBI Number (Your unique identity).
   • Current Status (Active/Inactive).
   • Contribution Record (Month-wise payments made by your employer).

EOBI Registration Process 2026

Registration is a legal requirement for any private organization with 5 or more employees.

For Employees (Self-Registration Check):

Most employees are registered by their HR departments. However, you can self-communicate your details if your employer hasn’t done so:

• Step 1: Download the PE-01 Form from the EOBI website.
• Step 2: Fill in your personal details and your company’s registration number.
• Step 3: Submit it to the nearest EOBI Regional Office or check if your company allows digital onboarding via the employer portal.

For Employers (Online Registration):

1. Create Account: Visit the EOBI Employer Portal.
